Ms. Reema Chopra, in her capacity of a CEO, oversees all the operational, strategic and business aspects of RCIC. Her endeavour at the firm is to drive its growth and steer it toward long term success by enforcing adherence to in-house policies and business ethics.

Reema Chopra, in her career of over 15 years has had the experience of being an in-house counsel & therefore is most ably suited to work on complex corporate law matters for large business organizations. She has had worked as a legal head of India’s leading manufacturing group. She is an expert at drafting complex legal contracts, regulatory compliances and providing legal opinion on international transactions, joint ventures, merger & acquisitions, RBI rules and guidelines, SEBI laws, Foreign Direct Investment, employment and labour laws etc.

Chayanika is a passionate, hands-on, performance driven People Strategy Professional with RCIC. She comes with a vast experience in Human Resources Operations, Employee Engagement & Retention, Employee Welfare, Coaching & Counselling & working towards Operational Excellence initiatives.

At RCIC, her main focus is on the formulation & implementation of Policies and Strategies for the achievement of individual & collective goals of the various departments. She is responsible for designing a comprehensive and sustainable Employee Engagement Plan. She is actively involved in establishing & executing a robust Rewards & Recognition Program aligned to RCIC’s business needs. She is also engaged in imparting Soft Skills Trainings for the professional development of employees. She is also focussing on strengthening Client Relations by encouraging an open, comprehensive, value based work environment.

Mr. S.P. Chopra

Mr. S.P. Chopra is a known name for his expertise in civil laws and has been serving the profession for more than 40 years. Mr. Chopra is very well known in the legal corridors & heads the civil litigation department at the firm. He has rendered his services to several national and multinational companies as well as small clients & has brought them victory in various matters ranging from civil recoveries, breach of contracts, injunctions and more.

Mr. Chopra is the Head of Civil Litigation at the firm & handles complex matters of multinational clients with multi – jurisdictional issues. Mr. Resham Singh

Head Criminal Litigation

Mr. Resham Singh is an erstwhile IPS officer, a very well known face in the bureaucratic circles heads the criminal litigation department at Ricky Chopra. He has been out in the field during most part of his career and has witnessed almost all kinds of criminal investigations scenarios while leading from the front all through.

Mr. Singh with his expertise and overhauled skills leads the criminal department at Ricky Chopra international counsels & is designated as the Head of Criminal Litigation. Mr. Singh’s practice is focused at representing clients in the scenarios of white collar crimes investigations, anti-corruption compliances, and criminal litigations.

Head- Tax Department

Mr. Hari Krishan has served the prestigious Indian Revenue Service for 36 Years and has worked on significant assignments such as Income-Tax and Corporate-Tax Assessments, Income-Tax, Corporate-Tax, and International-Taxation Litigation. He has represented the Indian Revenue Service in litigation before the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal for three years and has also served as member of the Dispute Resolution Panel of the Indian Revenue Service for three and a half years.

He has worked on various committees constituted by the Central Board of Direct Taxes like Committee for giving recommendations on Depreciation Allowance under the Minimum Alternative Tax (MAT) and the Committee for recommending the measures for broadening the tax base in India in collaboration with the Canadian Revenue Agency.

Mr. Hari Krishan, who retired as Chief Commissioner of Income-Tax, is the Head of Tax Department at Ricky Chopra International Counsels and advises on both direct and indirect tax related matters. Mr. Krishan using his developed and prolonged skills advises several national and international clients.



Head- IP and Competitive & Scientific Intelligence

Mr. Nitesh Raut heads the ‘IP and Competitive & Scientific Intelligence’ department at Ricky Chopra. He has years of profound experience in Patent and Innovation management including patent landscaping in diverse domains. His research combines analytical framework using scientific data and various economic models and theories. He is specialist in FMCG and Consumer Health categories which include oral health, skin health, nutrition and wellness categories. He has total work experience of more than nine years, and has brilliant leadership and client management skills which have made him receive accolades throughout his service. Prior to Ricky Chopra, Nitesh was the part of WNS as GM where he worked for clients like Consumer healthcare organizations and Pharma giants worldwide. Nitesh has unique multidisciplinary academic background in science, law, IP and technology management. He is a Biotechnology Engineer and obtained his law degree from the prestigious Delhi University.


MR. Gurmandeep Singh Sullar


Mr. Gurmandeep is an alumni of the prestigious Symbiosis Law School, Pune. He has years of experience of litigation in the Supreme Court of India, the Punjab Haryana High Court, the Company Law Board, The Debt Recovery Tribunal and various other forums. He belongs to a lineage of highly reputed lawyers and judges. He is expert at Urban Development Laws including licensing for development of residential and commercial colonies, Conversion of Land Use, Allotment as also Consumer Protection Laws, matters pertaining to Land Acquisition, Company Litigation, Securatization and Arbitration. Gurmandeep has to his credit among several judgments including the famous Full bench judgement of Punjab and Haryana High Court titled as Sehajdhari Sikh Federation Vs Union of India reported in 2012 (1) Recent Civil Reports 384 by virtue of which the Sehajdhari Sikhs were made eligible as voters in elections for the prestigious Siromani Gurudwara Prabhandak Committee. Gurmandeep apart from being a thorough professional is a spirited sportsman and has brought laurels to the Chandigarh Lawyers Sports Association.

Ms. Prachi Sharma is a Lawyer and Member of ICSI (Institute of Company Secretaries of India). She holds the position of Counsel- Corporate Lawyer in the firm. She has extensive experience in Companies Law, SEBI, FEMA and other allied Law.
She has incorporated numerous Indian Companies, Foreign Subsidiaries, LLPs, Trust and Societies and handled their all day to day Regulatory and Mandatory Compliances individually.

Ms. Prachi also advises on Mergers and Amalgamations, Overseas Direct Investment, Intellectual Property, Contract, Stamp Act and Taxation.

She is also an able hand in prosecuting and enforcing IP in the areas including trademark, copyright and patents. Moreover, she contributes thirty percent of her time on the matters pertaining to Foreign Direct Investments and Companies Act.

Mr Manoj Kapilashrami is a part of the litigation team at the firm and holds the position of Counsel. He has received his BA/LLB Degree from the renowned NALSAR University, Hyderabad. Ms. Aakshi Sehgal is a part of the litigation team with Ricky Chopra International Counsels and holds the position of Counsel. Ms. Aakshi has experience in civil litigation and has represented clients before all district courts, consumer forums, Delhi High Court, the Supreme Court and the Telecom Tribunal.
